See what happens after you press Send, and what to do when a send does not go through.
Send, then watch the status
When you send an invoice or a quote, Rokn sends it in the background. The page shows Sending… and then the outcome.
What the outcome tells you
- When the send succeeds, the document is sent and locked, and the client is emailed the PDF.
- If the client has no email address, the document is still sent, nothing is emailed, and the page says so.
- If the email to the client could not be delivered, the document is still sent. Try sending the email again.
When a send fails
A short problem, such as your payment provider not answering or the PDF not being generated, is tried again automatically, up to three times. A refusal, such as a payment key in test mode or credentials your gateway rejected, stops the send at once. Either way nothing is sent and the document stays a draft. The page gives the reason and a Retry button, and whoever pressed Send is notified.
